White Night Festival – The Metahub

Free video workshops on 22 and 23 October and a chance to help create the centrepiece of the Brighton White Night Festival!

The Metahub will be the centrepiece for the White Night festival events in Brighton, UK.  It will transform both locations into a social media driven environments, engaging the public at all levels. Live-streams from many venues and events across the festivals and videos created by members of the public will be brought together through video mapping technology and the work of expert VJs to create a stunning digitally augmented sculpture.

To get involved you need to attend one of our free workshops (details below) and be available to work with us on 29th October in Brighton throughout the evening until 2am. We want you to create video records that capture the atmosphere of the White Night events and bring it to our team of VJs for display on the Metahub sculpture. You can use your mobile phone video camera or small video camera for this. (Please bring relevant download cables).

Workshops are on 22nd or 23rd October 2011, 11am-1pm, 3-5pm or 6-8pm on both dates.

To be a part of this fantastic project book a workshop place (on first come first served basis) by registering for a course HERE. There are 10 spaces only per session.
